Blue Heron Taffeta
Dartmoor Filly- 7/19/2011
Sire: *Shilstone Rocks Mountain Battle
Dam: *Vean Damask Rose
Taffeta is a very correct filly with a lovely way of going and wonderful bloodlines for a broodmare. This filly will make an excellent addition to a breeding program or as a performance pony. She is a bit more of a darker bay than the other Battle babies. Very typey. Full sister to Blue Heron Chiffon and Blue Heron Denim.

Blue Heron French Cashew
Dartmoor Colt- 5/11/2011
Sire: *Shilstone Rocks Mountain Battle
Dam: Thistledown Juniper
"Cash" is a big colt with lots of personality. He has a fantastic disposition, he is quite lovely, and he is a good stallion prospect. His dam, Juniper, is a fabulous child's pony that is very typey. Juniper has won many ribbons during her show career in hand and under saddle. Cash will make a great gelding and will be gelded just after the first of the year (2012) if not purchased before then. Cash is a full brother to Blue Heron Lilac

Blue Heron Constant Comment
Dartmoor Filly- April 30, 2009
Sire: *Shilstone Rocks Mountain Battle
Dam: New South Swales Precocious

(photo at 13 months old)

2009 Dartmoor Filly. “Connie” is sweet with typey conformation.  Her dam is by *Shilstone Rocks Snowshoes and out of Pippy Valentine, and she is as typey as they come with a sweet disposition. NSS Precocious is 11 hands, and SR Mountain Battle is 12.1 hands.  The gnats seemed more prevalent this past year, and Connie did have some issues with them over the summer.  $1000

Blue Heron Denim
Dartmoor Gelding- born 4/5/08
Sire: *Shilstone Rocks Mountain Battle
Dam: *Vean Damask Rose

2008 Dartmoor Gelding.  Denim is bay with a few white hairs on his forehead.  Both of his parents are imported and between 12 and 12.1 hands.  Denim is very friendly with a lovely disposition, correct conformation, and plenty of bone.  He should make an excellent driving or child’s ridden pony. Denim is half an inch shy of 12 hands as of June 6th, 2010.  He won Reserve Champion Dartmoor and was 1st in the 3 & under Mountain & Moorland class at the recent Connemara show in Thomson, GA. Denim has been started walking and trotting under saddle in a roundpen. He has not been ridden in several months as vet school takes up a lot of my time. $1500
