Shilstone Rocks Mountain Battle

Battle is as solid as they come as far as the Dartmoor temperament and mind go. 
He has lovely build with wonderful substance and bone. He is imported 
from England and has exceptional bloodlines. His sire is Shilstone Rocks Warlord  
and his dam is Shilstone Rocks Mountain Song (sire: Teignhead King of Clubs and 
granddam: Shilstone Rocks Masada). Battle is a 2003 Dartmoor Pony Stallion 
registered with DPRA. He stands 12.1 hands, and he has a wonderful disposition.

Battle is definitely worth meeting as he is such a wonderful example of the Dartmoor breed!
He is available for Live Cover and Artificial Insemination to outside mares onsite. 

Battle's full brothers are Shilstone Rocks Mountain Lord and 
Shilstone Rocks Mountain King. 
Both were sold to new owners in Sweden at the Shilstone Sale, 
and Mountain King sold for a record £2000 as a weanling! Mountain Lord placed 1st 
at the Devon County Show and was Champion yearling 
at the Northern Dartmoor Show. Mountain King was 1st and Champion foal 
at both the Northern Dartmoor Show and the Southern Dartmoor Show. 

Mountain Song, Mountain King, and Mountain Lord are all proven show winners.

Warlord was stallion of the year 2000. He has won 6 major championships in hand.
 Last Summer he won 14 firsts and 2 reserve championships under saddle both in 
flat and W.H.P. At H.O.Y.S. he was 3rd in the working hunter pony. 

Masada has been the winner of 10 Supreme Championships, 18 Championships, 
6 Reserve Championships, 16 first prizes in 20 shows.

Teignhead King of Clubs has won a stallion of the year trophy.
